It's a collective Superman moment for both of the Kent men, and is an impressive beat for the heroes amidst the chaos of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths. This moment is just the latest affirmation that Jon makes a worthy heir to the Superman moniker, holding his own against an army of villains including the monster that once beat his father - and it also gives Superman himself a small measure of closure, as he's able to help ensure Doomsday doesn't get the chance to repeat The Death of Superman in the middle of the multiversal war. SUPERMAN DOOMSDAY SERIES
Doomsday has since returned and lashed out at numerous other heroes (and may even be responsible for the death of Green Arrow, if his demise at the onset of Dark Crisis turns out to be permanent), but it will always be his initial fight with Superman that defines him. Superman: The Animated Series (1996-2000) The New Batman Adventures. The event ended in Superman's apparent demise, setting the stage for years of storytelling. 2022 is the 30th anniversary of The Death of Superman, the event that introduced Doomsday as a character and pitted him against the Man of Steel for the first time. But it adds another layer thanks to the role of Doomsday within the context of Superman's history. It's a wonderful moment that's powerful on many levels, especially with Jon's joy at seeing his father returned during his time of need.
Together, the pair are able to overwhelm Doomsday and defeat him fairly easily - giving the pair the chance to join in the fight against the dark energy-infused Deathstroke. Luckily, the Justice League return just in time, and Clark Kent is able to assist his son in the fight. Ultimately, as Jace Fox assists Mister Terrific, an exhausted Jon finds himself staring down Doomsday. But there's only so much anyone can do, with Doomsday and Darkseid in particular landing some strong hits against the young hero.
He does pretty well for himself even, especially given the sheer number of foes he's confronting.
SUPERMAN DOOMSDAY MOVIE
Taking the front line is Jon Kent, who does everything to live up to the name Superman. Superman: Doomsday is an animated movie adapting the comic storyline of The Death of Superman, and is the very first of the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. Meanwhile, the Justice League struggles to escape their multiversal prisons, risking their lives to return to the main DC Universe. While the heroes align under the banner of the Titans do their best to hold the line against the expansive attack of the Dark Army against the Hall of Justice, Mister Terrific does his best to decipher and reprogram a device to help bring down Pariah's plans. and then the movie just keeps going Ryan Luis Rodriguez joins us for.

The crux of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #6 focuses on Pariah and the Dark Army's offensive against the collective heroes, hoping to further fuel the villain's plans to restore the multiverse to its full potential.
